The CSPA presented the 2017 Gold Keys, the Charles O’Malley Award for Teaching Excellence and the Joseph M. Murphy Award for Outstanding Service at the Awards Luncheon on Friday, March 17th.

The Gold Keys were presented to Noreen Connolly, St. Benedict’s Preparatory School, Newark, NJ; Carrie Faust, Smoky Hill High School, Aurora, CO and Lori Keekley, St. Louis Park High School, St. Louis Park , MN. The Charles R. O’Malley Award for Excellence in Teaching was awarded to Merrill Perlman, former New York Times chief copyeditor and communication and writing consultant, New York, NY. The Joseph M. Murphy Award for Outstanding Service was awarded to Frank LoMonte, executive director, Student Press Law Center, Washington, DC.
